Round 2. Joint Australasian HIV&AIDS Conference and the 25th IUSTI World Congress Scholarship - Clinicians, Nurses or Pharmacists

Scholarship Application Deadline: 11:59pm AEST Sunday 4 August 2024 -CLOSED

To be eligible you must:

  • Be an ASHM member. SIGN UP HERE
  • Be living and working in Australia AND
  • Be an HIV clinician, nurse or pharmacists 

Priority will be given to:

  • Clinicians with higher HIV case loads  
  • Clinicians from rural and remote areas managing patients with HIV or at risk of HIV 
  • Clinicians who meet the above criteria who have not attended this conference or other overseas HIV conferences before 
  • Clinicians who have not received funding from ASHM in the past, particularly for a face to face conference in the last 2 years. 

Scholarship Inclusions:

  • Registration for the conference
  • Return Flights to Sydney, Australia 
  • Accommodation for the duration of the conference

Terms and Conditions:

All applicants must complete the application form truthfully and advise ASHM if their situation changes. All scholarship holders will be expected to report back from the conference (according to specific guidelines) and provide content for the conference report. The nature of the report back will be negotiated with the recipient and be influenced by location.

You are not eligible for scholarship if you have any of the following:

  • Funds from a research grant to cover attendance at this meeting
  • Access to professional development funds available through your employer, such as health department and/or university funds
  • Funding from a pharmaceutical or other industry partners
  • Financial support through a research grant
